32GB SDHC Class 10 Secure Digital Memory Card with Canon Digital Rebel T2i (550d)?
ByHas anyone used a SanDisk 32GB SDHC Class 10 memory card with a Rebel T2i while using full 1080p HD video? If you did, how many minutes of video did you get? Is there a large noticeable difference between a class 6 and class 10?

A class 6 card or faster is recommended (page 123 of the manual).
The camera feeds the card as fast as it can – if a Class 6 card can keep up with the data stream, you’ll get no benefit from the extra speed of a Class 10 card.
The maximum video file size is 4GB, which at best quality is 12 minutes (page 132 of the manual).
It doesn’t matter how big the card is – 4GB is the largest file size.
That’s the maximum file size per push of the shutter button. To start the next chunk, press the button again. So you can do that 8 times on your 32GB card.
With the price premium on a 32GB card, you might be better off with several smaller cards.

No, I have not used that card.
The answer is on page 228 of your manual. Download your manual from here.

Yes, the class 10 is much faster than the class 6 and is recommended.
