Does the R4i-sdhc only play downloaded games?

I want to start recording pokemon battles and I have the game pokemon heart gold cartridge *not a downoaded game*. I want to start recording the game with clear quality. any help please!

i have a R4I too and use it 4 the same thing (legally of course =-) ) no i dont think that you can record. but if u wanna trade Flickr Mail Me i am

You won’t be able to record any of your game playing with an r4i card. But you can get the game off your r4i sdhc card and do screen captures in the game, using an emulator. Just make sure you get a real r4i sdhc and not a cheap china knock off / clone.
