How do I put the latest version of the English kernel onto a 4GB R4 SDHC card for the Nintendo DS Lite?

I have this 4GB R4 HDSC card:

When I download the English kernel onto the micro SD card and put the R4 card into my DS and turn it on I get the message "Loading". Any help would be much appreciated.

http://r4ds.cn/download/r4ds.html download it, unzip it, grab the folder and drop onto the Micro SDHC
