If I open a web design website then would I be likely to get customers?
ByIm thinking of opening a website where people can pay me to design websites for them. If I open the website and only charge about 50 pounds (0) per website am I likely to get customers through search engine traffic. If not then where could I get customers from

You have to advertise. Maybe even advertise with search engines at first. Search engines typically dont pick up your site as soon as it goes live. Google for instance gives results based on most popular sites first.

When your trying to use search engines to get traffic to a website there are many factors involved, such has your meta tags,keywords,description,links tracking back to your website. It really depends how much you advertise. When you open the website, it’s usually an extra 3 dollars for points to popularize yourself on google and yahoo.
Word of mouth is really powerful. People generally go through someone they know more trusting than someone they just found online.
Don’t forget, on each site you do, put a link back to your own site so everyone who visits the site can see who designed it.

Sure will and they leave so quickly because they won’t understand why only 50pounds, can I have a website with 1,000 pages and this and that and this and that. It doesn’t work because what are you getting if you explain more then that it will make all the difference.
