ByI’m planning on getting a flash cart for my dsi and i’ve decided that i want to buy the r4i sdhc but if anyone can tell me of any better cards and why i would really appreciate it. O yeah and im a fan of the pokemon series if someone could tell me which card is the best card for that. Thanks in advance.

The R4i sdhc is at the bottom of the league – because they are not updateable and if you buy a DSi then you are going to face updates and hence could get locked out in the future. currently you can still buy R4i that does support 1.4 – ALWAYS buy from renowned flash card stores like:
http://www.mygamingmart.com/r4i-r4-i-sdhc-p-120.html
http://www.acekard.ca/R4i_c_5.html
BUT i would recommend the Acekard 2i or even the more cooler Supercard DSTWO which plays GBA as well. Another good updateable card is the iEDGE
Check with these stores, they are local, offer warranty and genuine cards:

or
http://www.mygamingmart.com/nintendo-flash-card-c-45_46.html (renowned store)
Thanks

r4s are cheaply made and not of good quality, but the AceKard 2i is high quality and has automatic dldi patching for homebrew. I have an AceKard and its great, and it supports any Micro SD card up to 32GB. You get what you pay for with the AceKard.

I agree acekard 2i is a great cart
I have one and love it, but it does have a well known issue with contact when using it on a dsi xl..you need to put tape or paper to help the cart make contact with the dsi
but it’s not that big of a deal..I just put a couple strip of tape on the cart and it works..
stay away from r4i those are just clones..the makers of the "real" R4 is no longer together and these new R4 are just clones
but if you want the best..get a supercard DSTWO..it can play 100% of games without needing to patch
it also has a built in gba emulator..meaning you can play gba games just like you would DS games
I heard GBA has some great pokemon games
they will also have a SNES emulator too so with 1 cart you can play DS, GBA, and SNES games
I love my acekard but the DSTWO is the latest and newest in flash cart techonolgy
the dstwo cost under $40 but is well worth the price…you wont be on forums asking why a game don’t work..with a DSTWO..because they all do

Yes,R4i SDHC is a good card for DSi,it has cheaper price and perfect supports latest version of NDSi .The latest kernel of R4i SDHC can support WIFI.
Acekard 2i is also good for DSi,but it doesn’t support WIFI .
You can buy R4i SDHC from here http://www.ebuylife.com/template/detail/displaydetail.html?itemId=34598
